Communication with the Client and Customer Service are important to Alpine Builders. From listening to your ideas, to selecting the design elements in your new home, we strive to excel in communication and follow-up service. Building a home is a very large undertaking and we understand the stress and joy involved.
David Harbur,
Founder and President
An award winning artist from a very young age, David has turned his natural artistic talent into the design and creation of custom built homes. He uses his ability to envision space, color, balance and flow, combined with an engineering background to design the structure, form and distinctive beauty of his custom home masterpieces.
David has been building homes for 14 years, 8 years in the Pagosa Springs area. He is a member of the EEBA, the Energy & Environmental Building Association, an association that promotes and continually researches a systems approach to designing and building healthy, comfortable, durable, energy efficient and environmentally responsible homes.
David has attended training in:
- Green building
- Applied Building Science
- International Builders Convention annually for education, updates and a clear understanding of new products and methods used in building
